Recientemente, así como quien no quiere la cosa, pasaba por Sephora buscando unas sombras marca Bare Minerals que vi por Internet.

 

(Todo el que ha entrado en la tienda de Plaza Las Américas sabe que esa marca de maquillaje está colocado en la pared.)

 

Cuando voy al área donde están ubicados, me encontré con unos labiales hermosos y en distintos colores llamativos.

 

Al principio pensé que quedarían como glossy pero la chica que me atendió me indicó que no porque al aplicarlo en tus labios secan estilo matte.

 

(Todas saben que mis labiales son matte. Detesto el labial normal.)

 

Luego de preguntas, indecisiones y nerviosismos, tomé uno y lo compré.

 

La chica que me cobró me dice:

 

-"Mira, pruébatelo con calma allí en el espejo y me dices si te quieres llevar otro"

 

Así mismito hice. Lo probé ante el espejo y... ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ME QUEDÓ ESPECTACULAR!!!!!! 

 

Ese labial seca matte y es excelente. Cuando te lo aplicas, sientes sobre tus labios una sensación mentosa (como si te hubieses saboreado un dulce de menta) que luego va desapareciendo mientras el labial finalmente seca y se adapta a tus labios. Queda suave y no te reseca los labios.

 

* Les digo que quedé tan y tan fascinada que compré 7.

 

Me encantó porque te deja los labios suaves y no lo sientes pesado. Eso me gustó muchísimo.

 

Para removerlo es fácil. Puedes usar un desmaquillante o una servilleta mojada.

 

Les digo que: ME ENCANTARON.

 

Los recomiendo para el diario, trabajo y playa. Los tonos neutrales: Namaste y TBT los usaré para el diario. Frenemy para la noche. 

 

 

 

So Fetch para la playa definitivamente. Twerk para el trabajo. Yaassss y Adorbs para una salida entre amigas. Estos últimos cuatro son colores para la primavera.

 

 

Se utilizarán mucho así es que yo tu me lo compro. Cuestan  $20.00 y realmente valen la pena. No te tienes que colocar en los labios un primer ni nada de eso. Simplemente aplicas el labial y se acabó.

 

Lo más importante es que son "cruelty free". Es un producto que no ha sido probado en animales. Ahora, estos productos, sí han sido sometidos a pruebas dermatológicas.

• Parabens
• Mineral oil
• Phthalates
• Triclosan
• Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
• Gluten

Accesorios perfectos para enero y febrero

Cotejando entre mis cosas, encontré estas piezas de joyería Tous que van perfectas con los colores de enero y febrero mencionados en mi publicación anterior. Sólo quiero que tengan una idea de accesorios que pueden lucir. No piense que se los recomiendo y tiene que ir corriendo a comprarlos. No. NO NO NO NO NO.

 

Los compré hace muchísimo tiempo atrás. Y miren...ahora los estoy luciendo nuevamente. Antes compraba muchos accesorios Tous pero luego dejé de hacerlo porque con los que tengo me es suficiente para cualquier estilo y ocasión. Además de que la economía no está propia para uno estar gastando innecesariamente.

 

Prefiero ahorrar el dinero y gastarlo en comida, gasolina, cine, etcétera. Pienso que uno tiene diferentes prioridades en la vida y según la época, uno modifica.

 

Si tienes accesorios parecidos úsalos porque estos son los colores de temporada y momento.

 

Estos collares que verás a continuación son perfectos para lucir un estilo casual. Combinan perfectamente con camisas blancas, mahones, pantalones cortos, sandalias y/o plataformas. En la semana te enseñaré cómo lucirlos. 

 

 

 

 Los próximos estilos ya son un poco más elegantes. Lucen perfectamente con ropa de trabajo o hasta para un viernes social. El estilo pierde su propósito elegante si lo usas con un mahón. No. NOOO. NO. NO. En la semana, me podré varios estilos para ir al trabajo u reunión que se verán súper bien con estos collares en cuarzo.

 

 

Cuando te enseñe la combinación final, me darás la razón. Confía en lo que te digo. No todos los accesorios están hechos para lucirlos de una forma, evento u hora especial. Uno siempre tiene que saber distinguir y reconocer cuándo utilizarlos. La publicación de hoy también está escrita en español. Si no me puedo concentrar por los medicamentos fuertes que estoy tomando, no habrá publicación en diferente idioma. Espero te haya gustado la publicación de hoy y le saques provecho de alguna forma. Colores para enero y febrero

Recientemente me preguntaron ¿Qué colores estaré usando para el restante mes de enero y febrero?

 

Bueno, todo depende del ánimo que me levante en ese día. Pero, estos serán los colores que estaré usando en el mes de enero y probablemente febrero. 

 

Los colores para el año 2016 según Pantone, empresa que se dedica a trabajar con colores para diferentes sectores artísticos, que se están usando son tonos rosa quarzo, azul claro o "baby blue". Además de estos colores, podrán utilizar tonos grises y blancos. Según he leído en varias revistas, estos colores neutrales transmiten tranquilidad y armonizan bien con tonos oscuros y fuertes como el vino, verde, violeta, anaranjado y oro entre otros.

 

Pantone Color of the Year 2016 - Rose Quartz and Serenity

 

No sé ustedes pero colores así me transmiten serenidad y un toque como romántico como Romeo y Julieta. Cuando uno piensa en estos colores, me hace pensar en un algodón de feria que es dulce y te hace sonreír porque siempre que lo ves o consumes, te lleva a tu niñez. Me encantan estos colores porque son:

 

• frescos
• juveniles
• puedes combinarlos con otros colores por su aspecto neutral
• transmiten buenas vibras
• y te hacen lucir regia como una princesa.

Estás son la ropa y accesorios más parecidos que tengo a esos colores. En la semana les incluiré otros accesorios que encuentre en mi armario y estoy segura que tienes también. Para estar a la moda, no hay necesidad de gastar. No inviertas sino más bien reusa y utilizaa tu imaginación.

 

Espero que les gusten estas combinaciones e ideas simples. En la semana prometo que añadiré más ropa, maquillaje y accesorios. Sí, el artículo lo redacté en español porque los efectos secundarios de los medicamentos que estoy tomando son muy fuertes y no me puedo concentrar bien. They come in every color, dry fast and have give a great touch to your nails. /////////////////

Es increíble que un esmalte de  $1.99 me haya durado 10 días y que uno marca Revlon Longlasting Colorstay Gel que cuesta casi $7.99, sólo 4 días. ME ENCANTAN LOS ESMALTES SINFUL COLORS. Tienen diferentes colores, secan rápido y le dan un estilo único a tus uñas. 

 

 

 

(En.) Wet n Wild is also an amazing nail polish. It is not heavy, dries fast and stays at least up to 5 or 6 days. They are .99 cents if you find them on sale. Black is always a good color to have around in your house. //////////////////////////////////////

(En.) And I also love these nail jewels I saw at Sally Stores at  $1.99. They are amazing for nail art projects. I always have them around for whenever I'm doing my nails. I love doing new things to my nails. They come in half moon shapes, stars, flowers, hearts, drops, round and square shape. I LOVE THEM. /////////////////////////////////////////

 

(Es.) También me encanta la joyería que viene para las uñas. Las puedes conseguir en las tiendas Sally por $1.99. Son espectaculares para hacer diseños en las uñas. Siempre las tengo cerca para cuando me voy a realizar un diseño y tengo que improvisar. El paquete trae diseños de medias lunas, estrellas, flores, corazones, gotas, circulares y cuadrados. ME ENCANTAN.

 

 

(En.) What happened here is that I colored each nail with the purple Sinful polish (Purple Heart) seen above. The only one different was the ring finger, which I colored it with the Wet n Wild black polish (Black Crème). Then I applied to that same finger, the sparkle details of the Sinful nail polish (Silver Crush). They were pretty but not that lovely. So, I decided to use the nail art jewelry. I took each one of the designs above and put them in the middle finger of each hand. They looked lovely now, but not great. 

I said to myself: "Hey, What if I add some Sinful  (Silver Crush) to the middle finger and index finger? They should look great!" 

Well guess what? They did. I LOVED THEM!!!! And below is the final look. Hope you like this crazy retro 80's glam idea. I sure did and everyone who saw them did too. ///////////////////////////////

 

(Es.) Aquí lo que sucedió fue que me pinté cada uña con el esmalte violeta Sinful (Purple Heart) contemplado inicialmente. El único dedo que pinté diferente, hasta ese momento, fue el anular con el esmalte negro Wet n Wild (Black Crème). A ese mismo dedo, en ambas manos, le apliqué los detalles brillosos del esmalte Sinful (Silver Crush). Las uñas se veían bonitas pero no despampanantes. Asi es que decidí utilizar las piedritas en Rhinestone para hacerme un diseño chévere. Tomé cada uno de los diferentes estilos y los coloqué en el dedo del medio en cada mano. Ahora sí se veían hermosas pero quedé inconforme. 

 Asi es que me dije: "Oye, ¿Qué pasaría si le añado un poco del Sinful  (Silver Crush) al dedo del medio y al índice? Se deben ver súper  ultra mega hermosas." 

Pues ¿sabes qué? Se veían súper bien. ME ENCANTARON. Abajo se encuentra el estilo final. Espero te haya gustado este estilo extraño pero "Retro 80's Glam". A mi me gustó muchísimo y a todo el que lo vió también.

Para el estilo de uñas de esta semana, utilicé el L'ORÉAL PARÍS Extraordinaire Gel-Lacque (por el que pagué la cantidad de $5.99 pero que hasta el momento es excelente), el Sally Hansen Triple y el Sinful Colors Professional. Les confieso que estoy perdidamente enamorada de estos colores y ustedes no tienen ni la más mínima idea de cuanto. Todos son espectaculares.

(Es.) Previamente escribí que uno siempre debe tener diferentes piedritas en estilos y colores. Cuando te estás haciendo tus uñas, confía en mí cuando te digo que siempre vienen de maravilla. Las que te muestro en esta ocasión son transparentes. Nunca sabes cuando las usarás pero siempre vienen bien. Eso sí, ten en cuenta que ciertos colores no van a la par con ellas. Colores fuertes sí como te enseñaré.

(Es.) NO COMPREN ESTE ARTÍCULO DE KISS. ME DECEPCIONÓ COMPLETA Y ROTUNDAMENTE. Te explico abajo la razón.

 

 

(En.) Recently, I discovered on Instagram, different nail art patterns and stuff to use for them. Since these past few weeks I was really sick, couldn't go to a Sally Store and buy them. So, I went to Walgreen's and saw this ones from KISS.

 

They were $2.99 so for that price, why not right? Wrong.

 

I bought them. Then, like I always do on Sunday nights, I colored my nails. First I applied the L'ORÉAL PARÍS Extraordinaire Gel-Lacque (Don't Shy Away #701), which I thought at first it was purple but then found out it was navy blue and it was already on my nails. You all know my policy. When it is on my nails, I won't take it off.   

 

They looked very pretty. It is an excellent color to have. Then I applied the Sally Hansen Triple Shine (Seaonic #350) on the ring finger on each hand. Like I previously stated, saw on Instagram some nail art designs and that is why I bought the KISS tapes. Well, I waited for my nails to dry and applied one of those tapes to the middle finger (on each hand).

 

Can you guess what happened? Sure you can.

 

I applied the Sally Hansen Triple Shine to that nail and when I removed the tape, it ruined my perfect manicure. It removed part of the L'Oréal nail polish. On both hands happened the same thing. I was extremely furious. You guys have no idea, nor want to ever see me mad. I was really, really, really angry.

 

So.... I calmed myself and thought of different ways I could to solve the problem. I then decided to fix it covering the parts with the original nail polish and then finish to apply the Sally Hansen Triple Shine. I did. Had to wait some time for them to dry but I was not going to do my manicure again from scratch.

 

NO. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IN A ZILLION YEARS. NO.

 

After it dried, I applied on top the Sinful Colors (Silver Crush). It started to look nice but something extra needed to be done. So I took the Rhinestone gems shown above, and once my nails were dry, I put them on top of the three nails on my fingers: index, middle and ring. Then I applied the Sinful Colors (Silver Crush) on the same nails. And this was the final look.

 

Everywhere I go, people like them and ask me where I did them. Then, they are completely in shock when I tell them how I did it. Always use your imagination. It is always fun to play with things. ////////////////////////////////////////

 

 

(Es.) Recientemente descubrí en Instagram, diferentes diseños para uñas y las maneras para hacerlos. Asi es que sabrán que en estas semanas, en las que estuve bien enferma, no pude ir a las tiendas Sally a comprar los materiales. Pues fui a Walgreen's y encontré estos marca KISS. Estaban en $2.99 dólares y por ese precio pues uno dirá:

 

"Contra, pero ¿por qué no?" Pues mire...NOOOOOO.

 

Lo compré y fue la peor decisión en cuanto a uñas se refiere. Ustedes bien saben que me hago mis uñas religiosamente cada domingo. Pues yo, bien feliz, me pinté las uñas con el L'ORÉAL PARÍS Extraordinaire Gel-Lacque (Don't Shy Away #701), que al principio pensé era violeta pero que luego me dí cuenta de que era azul. Ya saben que una vez aplicado el esmalte, no hay manera de que me lo quite. 

 

Se veían bellas. El color me gustó mucho. Acto seguido le coloqué a la uña del dedo anular, en ambas manos, el Sally Hansen Triple Shine (Seaonic #350). Como mencioné anteriormente, ví unos diseños para las uñas en Instagram que me llevaron a comprar la cinta adhesiva marca KISS. Pues esperé a que mis uñas secaran para colocarles el dichoso adhesivo en el dedo del medio de ambas manos. 

 

Adivinarán ¿Qué rayos pasó verdad? Por supuesto que sí. 

 

Me pinté ambas uñas con el Sally Hansen Triple Shine exactamente donde quería y cuando quité la porquería esa de adhesivo me arruinó mi manicura perfecta. La porquería esa de KISS me removió parte del esmalte de L'Oreal y para colmo en ambas manos. ¡Ay! y yo estaba tan furiosa que ustedes no tienen idea cuánto. Realmente no tengo palabras para expresar lo iracunda que estaba. Para algunos será una tontería pero yo me tomo estas cosas muy en serio.

 

Asi es que me calmé y pensé en todas las maneras posibles en que podía resolver la situación. En ese instante decidí arreglar el revolú cubriendo aquellas partes que la cosa esa me dañó, con el esmalte original de L'Oreal. Luego terminé cubriendo toda la uña con el Sally Hansen Triple Shine. Esperé tranquilamente a que terminaran de secar pero es que no había manera de que me hiciera las uñas de nuevo.

 

NO. NO IBA A SUCEDER. NOOOOOO. NO SUCEDERÁ NI EN UN BILLÓN DE AÑOS. NO. ES QUE NO LO HARÉ. NO.

 

Luego que secaron, le apliqué el Sinful Colors (Silver Crush) encima del dedo índice y del medio. Se comenzó a ver mejor pero es que necesitaba ese toque extra. Tomé las piedras Rhinestone y una vez mis uñas estaban secas, se las coloqué en los dedos índice, del medio y anular. Finalmente les apliqué el Sinful Colors (Silver Crush) en las mismas tres uñas. Este fue el estilo final.

 

A todos los lugares que voy, gustan mucho y la gente me pregunta que dónde me las hice. Cuando les digo que fui yo y cómo las hice quedan en total asombro. Mire, siempre utilice su imaginación. Les digo que es agradable y divertido jugar con los colores.

Go ahead, guess!!!! It was on .... Instagram.

They liked one of my pics and befriended me. I went to their page and they have such beautiful and delicate things. They have lovely earrings, necklaces and rings. Their company is located in Denmark. But they speak English and Spanish. I know this because when I wrote to them inquiring if they shipped items to Puerto Rico, someone answered my message at first in English but then as we wrote some more, we ended writing in Spanish. 

The value added tax was what got me. First I bought two earrings, which I wanted to wear for either New Year's or my Birthday, and then bought a midi ring. At first I was charged twice for the value added tax but then, someone noticed that and fixed it. In the end, I only got charged with the value added tax once for the three items instead of twice. I loved that they were diligent, honest and sincere. That is one of the things I considered when thinking of buying from them again. The next thing was that they have their own carrier. They have a company that handles their shipping and apparently it's not one that we know. They told me that and that the items could come from 10 to more days because of the holidays and whatever thing may happen along the way. So I started to wait.

All of the sudden, someone from the company started to write to me and inform me the whereabouts of my package. I LOVED that. They kept me informed all the way and I was relieved. That is another thing I am considering when thinking of buying from them again. When my package arrived, I was very excited to see such beautiful and delicate jewelry. I didn't have the chance to wear them because when they came was after New Year's and my Birthday... well you all know I am very sick and could not do a single thing.

Alexandra Lyng's jewelry is gorgeous and I absolutely loved it. Everything came lovely and perfect. The only thing is that if you want to wear your jewelry immediately, I'm sorry to say that it's just not going to happen. You will have to wait two weeks approximately, but believe me that it is worth the wait. They are very nice people and extremely responsible. The best part is they will help you all the way. The prices are in euros. I paid for them: 134.00 + 73.00 Euros = 207.00. In U.S. dollars it was $224.53. I love that sometimes they have great offers and email promos. When new ítems arrive, I will let you know the prices and promos I used.

(Es.) Alexandra Lyng es una compañía que se dedica a hacer una joyería hermosa. Ellos son unas personas muy agradables. Cuando me enteré de su existencia fue....

Dale, adivina cómo los conocí.... Por supuesto que en Instagram.

Como siempre sucede, uno coloca una foto de joyería que a ellos les gusta y me comenzaron a seguir. Cuando visité su página ví tantas piezas delicadas y hermosas que no me pude contener. De seguro a ti te debe pasar lo mismo. Uno se emociona con tantas cosas lindas que termina comprando como mil. En este caso solo fueron tres piezas. Tienen hermosas pantallas, cadenas y sortijas. La compañía está localizada en Dinamarca pero hablan inglés y español. Los va a entender si se comunica con ellos. Sé esta información porque como siempre, comencé a preguntarles si distribuían sus artículos a Puerto Rico. Una persona me contestó en inglés, y según continué averiguando, no sé cómo pero terminamos hablando en español.

Existe un impuesto o valor añadido. Al principio compré dos pantallas, que me quería poner para Año Nuevo o mi cumpleaños y luego compré un anillo "midi". Obviamente me cobraron dos veces el impuesto por ambas compras separadas pero la persona que me estaba escribiendo se percató de esto y me cobró un impuesto por las tres cosas. Me encantó este hecho de que son personas diligentes, honestas y sinceras. Al darse cuenta del error, se movieron y arreglaron las cosas. Esta es una razón por las cuales les volveré a comprar. Otra cosa es que ellos tienen su propio servicio de envío. No sé cuál es. Eso sí, me dijeron que mis artículos llegarían de entre 10 a más días por las fiestas y cualquier cosa que surgiera en el camino. Así es que comencé a esperar.

De la noche a la mañana, la compañía me escribió para informarme dónde estaba mi pedido. Eso ME ENCANTÓ. Me encantó el hecho de que me mantuvieran informada y tranquila. Cuando finalmente llegó, es que la joyería es tan bella y delicada que me emocioné. Claro que no la he podido lucir porque llegaron después de Año Nuevo y mi cumple... pues todos saben que me enfermé horrorosamente y no pude celebrarlo como es debido.

Las joyas son preciosas y definitivamente me encantaron. Aunque llegaron tarde, vale la pena esperar. Son personas bien chéveres y extremadamente responsables. La mejor parte es que te mantienen informada de todo el proceso. El precio es en euro. Pagué 134.00 + 73.00 Euros = 207.00. En dólares es $224.53. Me gustó que tienen descuentos en sus prendas y te envían promociones. Cuando me lleguen cosas nuevas les aviso para que las vean y los precios.

Como ven, vino ese paquete extremadamente envuelto. Aunque "pasé las de Cain" para poder abrirlo, me encantó este hecho porque vinieron bien protegidas a dentro de una caja de USPS.

I tried to tell her some easy-to-do styles that would make her look amazing, but since I had little or no voice at all, I told her that on my blog she would find one that would suit her well. I started to look for YouTube videos and found this one. It is an excellent tutorial that gives you 10 great ways to style your hair and still look gorgeous.

We've all had rough days when we just want to look great but can't always go to a hair salon. It is very expensive these days. We just have to do something at home that goes great with our budget. And those days when we have a bad hair are perfect for improvising.

 

There are many reasons for doing different hairstyles. For example: Days we get sick or we just couldn't wash our hair for whatever the reason, etc. I hate looking boring or sick, like I mentioned before. So, whenever I can, because my hair stylist is traveling or couldn't make it to the hair salon for unexpected reasons, I change my hairstyle like those you will see in this short video. (Es.) ¡¡¡Ea rayos!!! Han sido varios días desde la última vez que escribí. ¡¡¡¡Odio enfermarme!!!!  Simple y sencillamente es la peor sensación en el mundo.  En esos días tu no quieres comer, hablarle a la gente, odias a la humanidad y no quieres hacer nada. El hecho de mover un dedo te molesta y te sofoca. Bueno, al menos así me siento cuando me enfermo. Pero por lo menos estoy mejorando día a día y eso es lo que cuenta. 

 

Esta semana, alguien me preguntó:

 

*"Oye Barbie, ¿Qué peinados podría lucir para el trabajo u ocasión especial?"

 

Pues traté de decirle unos estilos fáciles de hacer, que no toman mucho tiempo y con ellos te verás mega regia. El único problema fue que no tenía mucha voz para poder explicarle. Asi es que le dije que estuviera pendiente a mi blog porque estaría colocando algunos estilos que le quedarían bien. Buscando en YouTube encontré varios vídeos y este es perfecto. Es uno que te demuestra 10 maneras de lucir tu cabello y verte regia.  

 

En estos días, estaré publicando por Facebook: www.facebook.com/thebfashionspot varios vídeos que están excelentes y considero son idóneos para estar a la moda. 

 

Todos tenemos días en los cuales uno simplemente no tiene ganas de soltarse el cabello o no se lo puede lavar porque está enferma, etcétera. Ir al salón de bellezas ayuda pero es muy caro. Entonces lo únicos que podemos hacer es recurrir a las cosas que tenemos en casa. Esos días son los perfectos para improvisar. En mi caso, sólo me hago peinados si mi estilista está de viaje o no pudo llegar al salón de belleza o simplemente la ocasión lo requiere. 

 

Aquí te presento diferentes estilos de peinados para cabellos medianos y largos que son fáciles, no toman tanto tiempo en hacerse y no te tienes que rosear tanto "spray" para lucir bien. Simplemente te recoges el cabello y con un poco basta. Lo importante es no aparecer "esgreñada" al lugar o como que te acabas de levantar. Uno tiene que verse regia siempre. Tampoco queremos hacer ver que hemos pasado un día difícil. No. NOOOO. NO. Queremos estar a la altura y destacarnos en el ambiente que sea. I started to see all their jewelry and loved it. It is so simple, yet delicate. There was one piece of jewelry that caught my attention: an evil eye ring. It came in different materials: silver, rose gold and gold. I was scared that the ring would not fit me if I ordered it. But upon writing to Sage Rider and telling her my concern and doubts, she answered them. She said that she had my ring size and the ring fit her perfectly. I liked that. The fact that she answered my fears and returned my message was a plus.

* So, what did I do? I ordered the ring and began the waiting period. With all the holidays and mail rush, it came 10 days later just like they said. The period of waiting for mail delivery was from 3 to 10 days. I was surprised because it came carefully wrapped. /////////

Ellos fueron uno de los primeros en seguirme a través de Instagram y yo obviamente los seguí también. Comencé a ver sus piezas por internet y me encantaron. Son simples y delicadas. Eso sí, una pieza tomó todita mi atención: la sortija con el ojo. La misma se puede conseguir en plata, oro rosa u oro. Les confieso que estaba asustada de pedir la sortija porque si después no me servía iba a ser un revolú enviarla de vuelta y a mi los revoluces no me gustan. La chica me había dicho que la orden tardaba de 3 a 10 días en llegar. Para mi sorpresa, llegó súper envuelto.

I ended up paying for this ring $ 64.35 in Australian currency which in U.S. dollars is $47.50. It was also free shipping. I am now waiting for my second evil eye ring in gold which in Australian currency was $115.00 but with discounts $74.75 and in U.S. dollars $53.17.
